Specialty Appointments
What to Expect at a Specialty Appointment
Knowing what you should expect from your first appointment with us will help to make sure the experience is as pleasant as possible for you and your pet.
STEP 1
Get Settled
We encourage our clients to arrive with their pets about 10 minutes before their appointment in order to fill out our New Patient Form. If you'd like to save some time, you can also complete the New Patient Form online in advance of your appointment.
STEP 2
Meet Your Board-Certified Specialist
One of the veterinary specialists in our facility will review your pet's medical history and discuss any issues they may be experiencing. You will have a chance to ask any questions you would like to and we will take to time to answer them.
STEP 3
Examination, Diagnosis & Treatment
After your pet has been assessed, we will provide you with a diagnosis and a range of treatment options for your pet. Your dedicated veterinary specialist will work with you in order to determine the right treatment plan for your pet. After your visit with us, we will also contact your primary care vet and speak with them in detail about both your appointment with us and the treatment plan we've created.
